Last week when I was visiting floating mosque [the real name is Arrahmah Mosque] at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, I said floating mosque at Ternate, North Moluccas, is more beautiful. My dad said floating mosque in Ternate is a new mosque, so reasonable if it looks good. But he sure floating mosque which located on the Red Sea has inspired many others to build another beautiful floating mosque like in Dubai, Malaka Straight, Tengganu, Mumbai, Tanjung Bungah, and Ternate.

I took some Arrahmah Mosque pics but it still in the memory card so I couldn’t show it to you. But I have floating mosque of Ternate in my iPad now, which I shot September 2012 when covered Sail Morotai event in North Moluccas. This is one of Al Munawar Mosque pic I shot from speedboat on the way to Sofifi from Ternate. So what do you think?

Nabawi Mosque, a place where Rasulullah were preaching to spread Islam after he emigrated from Mecca. The same place he once lived and now buried.

When they informed me that Mecca is so different with Medina, I was not convinced. But after staying a few days in the two city, yes, I just felt the difference.

Nabawi or Medina so warmly accept anyone who comes. We will feel so comfortable and peaceful there. While we will feel like we must continue to fight in Mecca.

But that’s the essence of life, right, we must continue to fight for our life. Who are we opposed? More often, ourselves. Our pride, our greed, our laziness … Sometimes we never realize that a man’s greatest enemy in the world is his own self.
